When I look up at the sky and see a bright star, I know that is my dad watching down upon my husband, my daughter, myself and my family. My dad was a great dad who was caring, helpful and would always ask what we needed or what his granddaughter needed. The Christmas tree star at the top of our tree will remind us of him on cold and dark winter nights. Grandpa Bob is with us in our minds and hearts. We miss him greatly, but we know he is with granny and pappy up in the heavenly sky holding that star for us to see and remember him by. One song my daughter loves is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".....and I like to think it now has a new meaning for all of us.

Things are going better here dad.....they'd be so so much better if you were here and things were the way they were before you got sick. Still can't get over why things went down the way they did....why did it happen, why no warning signs, why not more time and why did the doctors lie and tell there would be more?love you always....that I can say for certain.
My Husband
You were such a good husband, father, and friend. You were always there for all of us and now there's such emptiness. When you died, part of us died with you. We miss your smile, your tender touch, we miss YOU! This holiday season is especially hard because we remember last Christmas, our last Christmas with you. We saw & felt your pain & knew how tired you were. We just keep asking ourselves, why? You left us way too soon. You would adore your 2 grandgals, Claire & Raegan & even though you're not here, they will know you because of all the stories we will tell them about you. When I look at them I can see your twinkle in their eyes and smiles. Please watch over all of us and know that not a day goes by that you aren't thought of & missed dearly. Love From Your Wife, Nancy
